Happy Thanksgiving!!! This morning Carter drew this and many other clever drawings, but this one was appropriate for the holiday centered around the meat dish! He admitted that this could be Aunt Amanda or Uncle Jonathan!

So here is in hopes that we all count our blessings today (that we are not at the other end of the gun!) and every other day of the year!

We love you all! Thank you for all you are to us everyday of the year! Happy Turkey Day!!!

Carter and Mrs. French

Carter was so excited that his Kindergarten teacher was at his Papa's
board meeting! He promised to sit still if he could sit with her (she
had offered to let him if I said ok). He was so good! He sat quiet and
listened to the meeting for nearly an hour!

He loves her so much and tells me how she used to ride her horse near
our house when she was younger. I am so glad that he likes her and
feels like he can talk with her.

We pray for her all the time as she teaches Carter and all his
classmates. Thank you Mrs. French for all that you do!

I Like Me.

Carter wrote this great statement of self confidence on the back porch
of his own accord. I love that he even added the correct
punctuation!!!

Carter's first day of Kindergarten.....

Today was the day! Carter went off to Kindergarten this morning! David
took him in and currently reported that minus slamming his finger in
the door on the way in he had a smooth transition. Although David says
I can't look forward to any smiling photos except this one taken
earlier before I left for work. Apparently Carter would not give up a
smile for anything. I am expecting a full report of events when I get
home tonight. I heard he was happy to see Alexis and Hunter.

His teacher's name is Mrs. French and his Principal's name is Mr. Scott Husman.

The boys - Hunter and Carter

Carter told me this morning that some boys in the bathroom asked them
if they were brothers and neither of them denied that they were
bothers!!! He looked so sheepish when he told me but there was a huge
grin on his face. I think he really enjoyed him self!! Thank You!

God's Gifts

P185

The beauty of God's creations takes me by surprise and reminds me of the complexity of our existence. How lucky we are not to have to fully understand it all in order to reap it's benefits! How great Thou art!

My favorite kind of clouds

P178

The darkest night is sometimes the bridge to the brightest tomorrow.

On my way to work this was the beautiful sight I was greeted with! It definitely brightened my spirits and lifted my soul!

God is so great everyday to us and I thank Him for all the blessings He has given me in my life!

Let The Camping Begin!!!

P10

We are nearly there! Exactly where we're going, I'm not sure, but we are close!!! We had to first get pulled over by the Arizona Highway Patrol to check our tint to make sure we were not too dark! Loved all the red rocks through the gorge below St. George...my favorite!!!

Our little Nerdling drew this picture before breakfast this morning. When we asked him what it was... He said: DNA Molecules! He labeled it too. I think he is already smarter than me!

Carter: papa, how come everything that I do that I think is fun, mama thinks is dangerous?
Me: maybe because ma worries about you and wants you to be safe.
Carter: how come you don't worry Papa?
Me: I do worry.
Carter: you just don't say it?
Me: not all the time.
Carter: you and mama shouldn't worry. I'm just having fun.
Me: I know.

With a little help from Grandma Linda, Carter and I put together the
Ginger bread house from Anna and Brian!! Then we took it to he

The Clown Monster is Vanquished!!

Papa vanquished he clown monster that lived in the attic today. There
was actually a wire that was banging on the fan in the attic that
would make a very loud noise in Carter's room and even would keep us
up sometimes. Carter said that was the sound that made him lonely when
he was alone in his room playing. So now there is nothing making noise
and Carter can rest easy as he moves into his new room! Thank God for
Papa!!!
